Zufar and Amira were lifelong mates. They fell in love as young adults and were soon married. It was a good, spirited match, and they gave much to each other. Many of their joint life lessons came from their bodies. Sometimes, people love each other and connect in their minds or hearts but never really connect in their bodies. Zufar was a soldier and strongly aligned with his healthy and strong body. He was also very aligned with Amira’s body. They were as much at home with each other’s bodies as they were with their own.

Goodwood Audiobook is Now Available

Goodwood (Book 2 of Riverland Series) is now available as an audiobook. The Riverland Series is for 6 to 9-year-olds and their young-at-heart old folk. It is based on things that happened in our family over two generations. We would love to share Nannie’s Nest, Moon Hill, the Rock King, the Dividing Lines, Goodwood and, of course, Riverland with you and your family.

Goodwood (Book 2 of the Riverland Series) is now Available!

My young co-author and I are happy to let you know that the next book in our children’s fiction series, Goodwood (Book 2 of the Riverland Series), has been published!

The Riverland Series is for 6 to 9-year-olds and their young-at-heart old folk. It is based on things that happened in our family over two generations. We would love to share Nannie’s Nest, Moon Hill, the Rock King, the Dividing Lines, Goodwood and, of course, Riverland with you and your family.

  1. Riverland (Book 1 of the Riverland Series): “I wasn’t the first one in my family to visit Riverland. The first one was Uncle Tim. He was five and went there because of his dog. Many years later, I also went when I was five because of my dog. Since then, a lot has happened in Nannie’s Nest.”
  2. Goodwood (Book 2 of the Riverland Series): “I bang my magic staff on the ground and say: I am strong, I have all the help I need, I am safe, I can deal with problems, I am loved, I get bright ideas, I make the world a better place, I am happy, I glow with moonbeam light.”

Practice is the Path

Not only is most of humanity not awake nor aware, but they do not even realise it is possible. However, our greatest gift as humans is that we can be conscious and live life with awareness. We have a choice, and what a blessing that is to our life. Consciousness is the path to alleviating every problem. When issues come our way, we will know how to receive the right ideas for dealing with those problems most effectively. Suffering will be hugely reduced until it is, one day, eliminated. Practise seeing yourself as being awake in all the various situations of your life. Practice is the path to eventual mastery.

Can You Love Too Much?

True generosity does not want something in return, so it does not get frustrated and tired. True love does not want something in return, so it does not become hurt and withdraw its love. It does not evaluate the scales of what has been given and taken and decide that not enough is coming back. It is inexhaustible. Every time you get into the sphere of genuine love, it is a reward, not a drain. First and foremost, love blesses the person who is in the loving consciousness.

Don’t Give Your Sleep Away

We must outgrow the tendency to look at sleep as a reprieve from the day’s problems, a welcome lapse into unconsciousness. Our body needs the physical rest of sleep, but our consciousness does not. It never sleeps. It works all through the night on something or other. That “something” will determine how we wake up and many other things as well. If you go to sleep unconsciously, it will be the perfect breeding ground for everything negative to percolate, manifest, and grow. The state in which you enter sleep will be magnified during the night.

Tonight, before you drift 
into slow theta brainwaves, 
commit your sleep to positive purposes 
and ask the higher powers to 
guide, protect, and heal you.
