Who is this “I” that navigates the path? What part of me is real, and what part is a costume I wear so the world can recognise me? The further we travel along our path, the less interest we have in being defined by roles. 

You’re not here to be understood by everyone. You’re here to stand where your energy belongs, where it comes alive. That is what a frequency holder does. And when you do, you create a space where others can feel at home in themselves and rise into their own expression.

Master of Me: Meditations is for spiritual seekers, seers, and teachers. We are all all of them. We are all seekers, though we may not know what we seek. We are all seers, though we may be looking through a murky window. And we are all teachers to someone. Naturally, the quality of our seeking, seeing, and teaching improves with our growth, but that is simply a matter of time (although, in actuality, the soul knows neither time nor space). Once you become acquainted with the meditative state of mind, it will tend to stick around. After a while, you become inseparable from and deeply in love with the consciousness of love, which underlies all authentic meditative practices. You become a walking, talking meditation yourself.

Don’t Give Your Sleep Away

We must outgrow the tendency to look at sleep as a reprieve from the day’s problems, a welcome lapse into unconsciousness. Our body needs the physical rest of sleep, but our consciousness does not. It never sleeps. It works all through the night on something or other. That “something” will determine how we wake up and many other things as well. If you go to sleep unconsciously, it will be the perfect breeding ground for everything negative to percolate, manifest, and grow. The state in which you enter sleep will be magnified during the night.

Tonight, before you drift 
into slow theta brainwaves, 
commit your sleep to positive purposes 
and ask the higher powers to 
guide, protect, and heal you.
