People often say they have a problem with lack — lack of money, time, love, opportunity, or freedom. But we are never without creative energy. We are creating all the time. The difficulty is that our conscious desires may be working against deeper beliefs about worthiness, struggle, success, money, love, or what we think we are allowed to have.
When life repeatedly produces something different from what we say we want, it can be useful to look beneath the surface. What beliefs are actually directing the experience? There is never a lack of life force or creative capacity. Don’t turn an abundance of creative energy into an experience of lack. That is like trying to breathe through a straw while standing in the vastness of open air.
