Imagine a place you love and allow it to become vivid in your mind. Then imagine that everything stops except you. A bird hangs motionless in the air, a wave pauses mid-crest, a person freezes halfway through a step. Now allow reality to begin moving again, but only one tiny movement at a time, as though you are watching a film frame by frame.
Once you can feel reality this way, begin changing things between the frames. Change the weather, the people, yourself, the possibilities, or the direction events are taking. The practice is not about forcing a particular outcome, but about loosening the sense that reality is fixed. Hold firmly to the feeling of what you prefer and lightly to the details, allowing life to organise itself in ways you may not yet have imagined.
